Over and Out

Now that Billy is through the operation, we're going to let him pick up handling his own PR when he feels like doing it. Probably the best way to be notified of new activity is to subscribe to the blog - you'll get an email when there's an update. If anyone needs to get in touch before then, you can reach me at kate.eberle@gmail.com.

We have loved hearing from all of you and are very thankful for all of the support we've been getting from all of Bill's loved ones. Thank you from the whole family.

  1. so...if Bill is manning his own mike...er, so to speak...does that mean he, uh, you are awake and aware again? Consider this your long distance hospital visit!!! All kidding aside, you scared the crap out of us, Bill Hartley, and you better start taking care of yourself and your ticker after this, or I'll have to [have Joy] "go all Uma on you"!!! LOVE, Jessi

  9. Hi Billy! Tom and I have been so worried about you! Glad to hear you're finally pulling through. Now we'll have to have a CRCA reunion! Remember Stan and Paul having a power cord fight? Remember the fun Comdex days? Maybe not. You take care Bill. Glad you continue to be so tough! Keep it up!

  10. Alright Billy, I can relax now knowing that I won't be getting faced while listening to dozens of dusty cassettes and bemoaning how lame an IM2 reunion would be!

Oh, and don't even think about hitting me up for a smoke next time I see you...

  17. C'mon Slacker,

Man, anything to get out of a little work!

  18. So...your groggy (you better be on some GOOD SH*T, man), your chest (and everything else) hurts like hell - and you dont FEEL like blogging. I get that. Just KNOW when they wake you up once an hour to check your temp, or give you a shot, or find some other insedious way to interrupt the only peace you get these days, ie - SLEEP - try like heck to fathom how much you are loved, Billy boy!

( Your parents messed up though - they should have named you George Bailey Hartley! )

  19. I miss getting daily updates...but im not complaining exactly, I just feel useless being so far away...so I drop another line to say, "Hi,Love ya. Thinking of you. Here's hoping you feel a little bit better everyday! "

  20. 2 weeks today, buddy! You're officially a non-smoker, and you are now past the worst withdrawl symptoms. The urges are still there I know, but if you can quit amdist all the stress you're currently enduring, then you CAN stay quit. Mostly likely they've got you strapped down in bed to protect all the nurses anyway -nudge nudge - so I'll sleep secure in the knowledge that there is no nicotine available!!!

When you feel up to it, strong arm Joy into quitting again too, OK? (Hey, if you're sick of hearing from me everyday, just write"STOP", or blog it, whatever - or have Kate or someone else do it.) Otherwise, since a virtual visit is the best I can offer, I'll keep chatting you up so that you know that I know that you're still there. ENCOURAGEMENT & STENGTH.
